Afshin Azizi

Biography

I was born in 1986 in Tehran, Iran, into a middle-class family with a profound appreciation for Iranian culture and music. My parents’ love for these traditions sparked my own deep interest from an early age, and by the time I was four, I could recite poems by Hafez, the renowned Iranian mystic poet, by heart. When my brother began learning the Tar, an Iranian string instrument, my passion for music grew, and I eagerly asked my parents to enroll me in music lessons.
