Synopsis: A reflection of Iran’s younger generation, director Mehdi Bagheri makes himself the subject of ‘Reluctant Bachelor’ in this autobiographical documentary. Mehdi, still living with his parents at age thirty, refuses to attend his brother’s wedding reception after years of not speaking to his father. As he relates his life story to the audience, he attempts to revise his attitude towards his family members by interviewing them one by one.
